I recently had the pleasure of dining at Sarah’s Kabob Shop, and I must say, the Mediterranean/Arabic cuisine here is top-notch, the best I’ve had in months. The staff was exceptionally welcoming during my first visit, and their friendliness added to the overall positive experience. While I typically don’t opt for fries with my Mediterranean dishes, I’m delighted that I did here because they were exceptionally fresh and delicious, just like everything else on the menu. It’s important to note that this is a fast-casual style restaurant where you place your order, and they promptly bring your food to your table. It may not be the ideal spot for a romantic date night or anniversary celebration, but it’s definitely a place I’ll return to whenever I’m in Greensboro. My only small gripe would be my wish for them to switch from styrofoam and plastic utensils – a more eco-friendly choice would be appreciated. 😊

I indulged in a chicken gyro accompanied by creamy hummus and flavorful falafel as a side, and I couldn’t have been happier with my choices. Every item I sampled was exceptionally tasty, and I’d wholeheartedly recommend everything I had. The hummus, in particular, is a standout. Sarah’s Kabob Shop is undoubtedly one of the finest dining establishments in Greensboro, and possibly the entire Triad region. It’s a fixture on every “best in GSO” list, and it’s easy to see why. Personally, I had a negative experience with lamb at another restaurant in my youth, but this place not only helped me conquer that aversion but made me fall head over heels for it. The combination of succulent, sizzling lamb paired with cool cucumber sauce and fresh veggies is simply divine. This place is consistently outstanding, and I’m someone who tends to scrutinize every detail when writing reviews. But honestly, I can’t think of a single thing to complain about here. Sarah’s Kabob Shop, please never change!
